Raised in Dundas, Ontario, the middle child of three boys, Andrew Cividino (Director/Co-Writer) spent summers on the north shore of Lake Superior where his mother grew up. His childhood “camp” (northern Ontario speak for “cottage”), and his grandparents’ year-round home are on the beach where Sleeping Giant is set. Andrew went to film school at Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts. Sleeping Giant is his feature film directorial debut.
